Some of you may have noticed the absence of Brianna Nalyvaychuk from the pro smooth dance events. She was diagnosed with lymphoma and is undergoing chemo. This is an expensive medical procedure that also prevents her from reaching for several days after sessions. So the couple has a double hit. They have been very private about why she is absent, so many people had no idea. After Francesco and Christiano announced a fundraiser at Crystal Ball, a Go Fund Me page was set up. It's doing well, but any donations help.

Does she not have insurance? If she does, she should reach out to the drug company that manufactures the chemotherapy to help offset the costs. Most have co pay assistance programs to help offset costs that insurance does not cover.

I haven’t quizzed her on insurance. I know she has some insurance. Dance teaching is a very physical activity. Are you familiar with the side effects of chemo?

I am, actually. I live with stage 4 colon cancer and have been on chemotherapy and immunotherapy the past three years, if you must know. I work full time. I know a thing or two about insurance and just was suggesting it to help with costs in addition to fundraising.

Additionally, she might also be able to qualify for emergency insurance through the state she lives in as well if she does not have coverage. Just making suggestions…
