Exactly one year ago this week I started learning to dance (West Coast Swing and later Hustle, Lindy Hop, and Balboa)

I'll be in the copier room doing the birthday dance if anyone needs me.

I will also be two (for Salsa)! :D I don't remember the day or week though, but it was in the beginning of the summer.
 
I started the first week of June one year ago, but also two weeks before the Liberty Swing Dance Competition. This is the first full week of the month and once again two weeks before LSDC.

Of course, in this Birthday is just for starting to take classes. In November my lets go out social dancing and get hooked by going to my first event birthday happens.

And I get busted practicing spins, double resistance, and anchoring...all the time.
 
y'know, i never thought about that. today is probably my dance bday. Wow... what wierd luck.

Of course this is the first took a class bday. The convinced parents to let me consistantly take classes bday isnt for 6 months. Wow.

To be correct then:
Maybe it should be in the beginning of the autumn then for me... I had some free classes during the summer at the amusement park though, but I started with a beginners class in the autumn.

Our weekly dance got canceled tonight :(

But I did dance all weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), started to create a list of songs to do a routine to (the other news is that Swing4Life and I have decided to do a rising star routine together, this is fairly recent news, maybe a week and a half old), had a private, will be going out tomorrow night, designed a flyer for a WCS performance class, and started planning a Party for dancers to bridge the dance communities.

And I went to work for 8-hours a day and danced at the photo-copier in addition to doing all my work.

(oh, and I'm getting close to 500 posts...another reason to celebrate soon!)
