Happy Holidays!

Speaking of holiday stuff (Easter, in this case.) Has anybody besides me never heard of cascarones? Just found out about them from a guy at work yesterday. Apparently, it's a Mexican Easter tradition. They take eggshells -- real eggshells -- empty the egg, wash the shells, and fill the shells with confetti. Then comes the fun part, breaking the eggs over the heads of people (children, mostly.) What a blast! My coworker gave several of us some cascarones to take home. What fun. :D
 
last night at easter vigil as we sang the gloria and all of the lights came on I realized that my mother was hearing that magnificant sound form the angels choir loft....dont know how to explain what a mighty cool notion that was
 
Happy Easter everyone! Remember that there will be huge sales on Easter candy and chocolate this week! I know I'm going to stock up at the store tomorrow! ;)
 
I was just over at Walmart. No sales yet. I guess they're going to make the Easter procrastinators pay full price. :lol:

I did see some matzos on sale, though. I guess the Passover procrastinators get a break. *shrug* :lol:

Hmmm....matzos weren't exactly what I was hoping to see in my easter basket...but thanks for the easter sale update!
