Yeah, I'm coming to the conclusion that I should just ignore every teacher, and work this stuff out either by myself or with you lot

Or, possibly I just encounter a lot of rubbish teachers.

Definitely the right approach; autodidactic tango.

I now have to find a large cake to practice my toe leads on

Gssh, your post http://www.dance-forums.com/showpost.php?p=502695&postcount=29 is excellent. I have studied JKD and its concepts for most of my life, and have tried to apply it/them daily in everything including dance/tango. Thanks for sharing.
