Hi I'm new to this Dance Forum. I consider a pretty good dancer and my friends always comment on my dancing even though I don't think it's really that good. Anyways I was wondering what you can do with your hands with out getting inappropriate :raisebro: rather than just having them on your partners hips the whole song.

I assume you're referring to club dancing and grinding? You could move your hands to the rhythm above your head, around (but not touching) your partner's body, etc. The possibilities are endless. Use the rhythm to your fancy.

welcome to DF max......I agree with TE...and the girl has hands and shoulders too, right?...you can actually hold her like lots of people hold each other when they dance......your left hand holding her right hand ...and your right hand on her back just under her left arm...its kind of nice...and if you consider going to a dance studio, you'll learn all sorts of options....welcome
