Just wonder how many fellow dancers here who also enjoy hiking. Always enjoyed this, but have increased it over the past three years.

I would love it if I weren't so injury prone. :( It's not that I hurt myself hiking, but I've had knee issues since late summer and it just didn't seem like a good idea to go hiking.

Just did a hike in the Superstition Mtns outside of the Phoenix area. This is the location of The Lost Dutchman Mine Legend.

All the way to the bottom, and back up again?
Well, I did THAT with my dad! this time I hiked the entire Rim (because the trail was too crowded believe it or not) with Dear Husband, even the isolated paths.... It was great!!! Stars amazing, sunsets, breathtaking, train from Williams 2 night trip checked off my bucket list!!! dance Pro? Jealous! Lol. Check.

Being in Southern California we have tons of parks with ample trails. As I sit here now I just got back from a three and a half mile hike. I usually don't walk for more than an hour or two though there are exceptions. We have a park behind us then has several lakes and a swamp and some forest. There are Bobcats, coyote, the occasional Panther, rabbits and well over 100 species of birds. I go there and take pictures frequently.

There's something creative and wonderful about nature that I think helps me be more creative and inspired. I think it is very important to get out of nature at least a few times per month if not more.
