Holding hands/linking arms

Oh, from recollection, it was a photo of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie holding hands on the set of the movie they were doing at the time (Mr & Mrs Smith?) that lead to the speculation of a relationship between the two of them. It suggested a closeness between the two of them, but whether there was anything else more than that, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. (For all I knew, Brad Pitt could have been gay!)

And for some reason I think walking down the street with arms linked is less significant than walking down the street holding hands. I'm not entirely sure why. Does anyone else feel that way?
Yes, holding hands is a much more intimate gesture(i.e. direct skin contact) than linking arms. I never hold hands with my friends unless I am dancing with them!

Okay, looks like I may be one of those "naive" women. Where do I sign
No signing anywhere, just check if their eyes light up and twinkle everytime you touch them... :D
I wonder if animals have this sort of diliema?
Let's say they don't. If they want something, the males would just..you know. Either they got what they wanted, get bitten or the female would run away. They don't care... that separates us from the animals... :D

Ah yes, the things that separate us from the rest of the animal kingdom...
