Don't know about one dance Mambo participation, but looks like it was renamed Hotlanta - The Classic, and is run by Eddie Ares and Chasity Smith.Does DAZA not still own it (with or without Eddie)?
If you like salsa there are some great clubs . Sanctuary is the best ( IMO) and it is in Buckhead .Open Fri/Sat nites until 2 am .If you go, say Hi to Jorge the owner , from me ( he's always there ) .cool. I'm attending for the first time, and mambo has been decent lately. I thought it would just be a single group dance thing but there are all these RULES.
thanks, but i'll be there to compete and do makeup - won't have time to salsa! If you like salsa there are some great clubs . Sanctuary is the best ( IMO) and it is in Buckhead .Open Fri/Sat nites until 2 am .If you go, say Hi to Jorge the owner , from me ( he's always there ) .
I remember back when i started competing that it was quite large. We decided to do the mambo one dance thing, so hopefully we won't be the only ones on the floorIt’s not as big as it was back in the day, but better than it was when there was other ownership. It’s not a bad local comp.
The clubs are open until 2.30. Should give you a couple of hors .The best by the way is Sanctuary .(99% latino ) .thanks, but i'll be there to compete and do makeup - won't have time to salsa!
