So you got to get rid of a hormone driven idiot....... well, in decent conversation, let say a jerk.
English is problematic, he lives in USA but english is apparently hard to understand - a simple word such as NO, must sound like "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" (one very long and difficult word) to him. It was probably one of the first 5 words in english i learned and the meaning is very clear to me as a non-native american.
You have used "leave me alone" and even that proved way above his intelligence.

How FAR would you go to get rid of a jerk (oops, we are in decent conversation !)

I know a song which has the wonderful words of "i never want to see you again". if i record the song 12 times on a CD - would you get the message ?

How far would I go? It depended just "how far he was going" with being an idiot.

probably the farthest a person COULD go would be cold blooded murder. (err, more like hot blooded, seeing as youd have to be pretty infuriated to be driven to such lengths)
More realistic is a restraining court order as worst case possible (stalker creepy its been two years your sleep in your car outside my house etc.) scenario for me.

they say the prove is in the pudding..............yes, mr dumb knat stalk as well, apparently thinks it is a professional job !!!!!! last time i checked, the job didn't pay too well..... oh wait, stalker is dumb, so doesn't realize that stalking is a crime, the pay is a few years behind bars................ sorry i am sounding way too intelligent tonight !!
oh and before you feel sorry for dumb knat, go to the nearest prison and give the death row inmate a hug for being such a good person !! your good deed of the day will be done !!
i have a very good gift for mr dumb knat, a week's vacation of my choice, the food will be 5 star food, he will feel very at home there, nobody would be able to disturb him either, now, wait, i am being way too generous...................

hmmm. THe CD idea is great. Give the CD to the guy and tell him that this is your answer and if he does not understand that the next response will be cops knocking on his door and with an arrest warrant or court order.

There really is only 2 options. One is to tell him directly of your wishes. However, if you feel your safety is in question, then i would suggest either report him to the police or obtain a restraining order.

I think a straight NO is the easiest way to get rid of someone. I've never had problems getting rid of guys.

Jerks usually hang around when they get the attention they need. I think some women make mistakes of keeping them around by being nice, giving them what they need, etc.

DON'T BE NICE. It's simple (but of course that should be from the start, which can be a bit tricky, discovering a jerk before getting involved).

I am in the be as direct and firm as possible b/c some guys think a polite no is a tease...and if that doesnt work or you fear for your safety...and with some guys you should...then I encourage use of things like police officers and lawyers...i am very grateful to have both in my family

Good advice. And one other thing: the way people like that think, he's going to try to get an emotional reaction out of you. If he can do that, then in his mind, he wins. So don't give him that reaction. Be as cool and emotionless as possible. Don't be drawn into an argument. State your case, say goodbye, and leave. And don't look back.

(And if the guy follows even after that, it's time to get the law involved.)
