How Many Have You Met

Won't ask as to whom, but how many fellow DF members have you met personally?

To date I have met six of them; have danced with three of them.
 
It was easy to come up with a list of 30. I'm guessing the full list is over 50 at the moment. Which surprised me. But when you start comping, the number starts climbing pretty rapidly.
 
none so far... do we have any form of DF congregations apart from the dance comps? I'd pop along... I'll bring some cake and english-only things (barm/potato cakes) (just don't tell customs I'm arriving ;) )
 
I've danced with Peaches, and I think I met most of the other D.C. folks that night. I've danced with Chachachacat and Musicchica86. I've met Larinda and taken seminars from her, but I've never actually danced with her. (I'd remember if I had! ;))
 
Mamboqueen, Samina, fasc, sdsalsa...I don't think I really should count Larinda, cantskiforlife, and all the SuperShag people as I met all them before I joined DF!

Peach, did we merengue or something in DC? I guess not... I watched you and Skwigs rumba... you little hotties.

I got to compete in the same event with Laura (Martini Smackdown, yay!), and have watched lots of DFers compete. Have seen Lucy Diamond and CANI perform in showcases. Shared a room with Fasc at last year's USDC.

The most recent DFer I met was EmeraldDancer at the Yuletide Ball in January! :D

We may have done. Don't remember, but I'll dance merengue with anyone. (I don't care what people think about it, merengue can be fun and dirty as heck, if'n you make it that way.)

LOL. So true. I've had a few merengues that were...geez... like rollercoasters that took my breath away! Not generally at regular socials, tho. :cool:
 
So most of you have done better then I have. Well, not a lot of members in this neck of the woods.

Maybe y'all should come out to the Phoenix WCS Convention every week of the 4th of July, or I should travel east. :mrgreen:
