I was 44 when I took my very first lesson a year ago. My only regret is that I waited so long to take the plunge. So many lost years!

25, with no prior dance experience whatsoever.

I'm 30 now.

I started ballroom when I was 14, having had a little bit of prior training in ballet and jazz. But I was on and off with it for many reasons... parents discouraging it, not having enough courage to pursue it, other career interests, body image issues, etc, and a few other personal reasons. I finally got serious about it just over a year ago. I'm 26 now.
