How to keep tuck-in dress from falling while doing jive

My dress is kind of heavy and it usually will fall off while jiving even being tucked. Anyone has any tip? Deeply appreciate!

Does anyone have tips on how to keep a quickly tucked heavily beadded train from falling?

Put a hook and hook it right after paso

I know a hook wouldn't hold in my Jive either - a lot of them have the same issues as a tuck because of the up/down movement especially in your lower body.

You basically want a sewing hook that can "lock."

Not really, because of the way most of them are shaped. I tried to find an image, but I need to go through my closet - I know one of my older showcase costumes has one.

I've seen an actual button, and te loop for the button sewn into a seam so it's pretty tight on there.
