I found I had to go up a size in dance shoes to get enough room in the toe box to keep that from happening. I have narrow heels, so have to use a heel grip, but I have much less pain now.

this has been my dilemma...my internationals are indestructable and wont wear out but are very uncomfortable...my capezios feel great and look like crap in 3 months...grrr

I ordered International shoes in a wide fit through the mail - I suppose they were wide for a newt - they cost a fortune and I was too embarassed to send them back with the request for 'could I have the wide for a FOOT not for the TOE option? So they sit in my closet (hey, closet thread...). I suppose I could sell them to some other unsuspecting ostrich-footed mark...

The only shoes that sort of fit (my love-hate competition pair) are from, yes, you guessed, china. DSOL - when they say wide they mean it. You could win a kayak competition paddling with my shoes! Unfortunately, I need the draggon boat size....
