I don't think there is any such thing as a standard pair of feet!

I really want to see dance shoe companies offering custom orthotics that fit their shoes. I have one shorter leg, so in trainers I can wear insoles or a heel lift. But I can't get anything like this that fits nicely into my latin sandals! Obviously it would be visible, but if they could make some the same colour as the shoe, the right width, and with a sticky underneath to secure it, that would be a massive improvement for me!

Haven't tried RR latin straight heels. RR latin shoes look chunkier compared to Aida on my feet...

I tried RR slim heels of their standard shoes. It's a dream. Much easier to roll over through my feet than those flare heels. In terms of heel placement, supadance slim < RR slim = supa contour < RR flare, where "<" means towards the center. From what I understand they improved their slim heels recently so it is less likely to break than those slim heel models a few years ago.

I have worn all three styles of the RR heel. I am currently wearing the straight heel and I like them the best of the three styles. I wear the Xtra and I like them quite a bit. The shoe with the straight heel has great flexibility, stability and have a long wear time (at least for me).

If you really like a model but with a different heel height/configuration and width, if you don’t mind ordering 12 pairs at a time, RR has let customers custom order configurations. I currently wear a Wide (M+), 2.75” straight heel that I custom order.

12 pairs is a bit much, yes. I'll have to try out the actual wide option now, sounds like it might work.

I also wear a 9.5 US street shoe and a 6.5 Ray Rose Kalahari. I'm buying IDS shoes blind because I want a pair before my next comp. No local vendors. I have a 6.5 in Supadance which are too small and narrow(big bunions). Does a 6.5 in IDS fit like a 6.5 Ray Rose? Let me know.

This is not 100% responsive to your question, but FWIW, I wear a 9.5 US street shoe; 9.0 US IDS smooth; and 8.5 US IDS Latin sandal. They work beautifully.

Does anyone know if Aida Karina slim heel can be fitted with heel protector from a different brand? I desperately need them but can't get a hold of the Aida protectors (in Canada).

I also have a question...

I have been using Aida Slim heel caps to fit all my shoes (RR RockSlide 2" slim, Dance Natural Latin 70mm slim, and Aida Latin slims).

But RayRose discontinues 2" slim for Rockslide and they only have 2.5" now . Why on earth do they do that??? The 2.5" slim has a tiny bit "flare" at the tip and does not fit Aida slim caps anymore. It is not as chunky as my past RR flares but still larger than what Aida would fit.

Do you have experiences with RayRose standard 2.5 slim heels? What kind of caps can I get? Thank you)))

Well I just ordered an Aida shoe for the website, and after I paid, it said: "Call this number if it's your first time ordering."

So I did. After reading 17 pages of the discussion here, I decided that my size 9/10 feet would do best in a size 25. But after calling him, he asked me to draw my foot and measure from my middle of top foot to the bottom. And it was 25. But he decided since it was closed toe it was 25.5

I wanted a wide, square toe. But he had a regular square toe in stock and he told me he was going to mail that to me instead. And see how it worked before special ordering one from Russia which takes a month.

This process sure is complicated over the internet.
