How do you like this imagery?

Apildao is like a bicycle: each wheel shares balance with the other wheel via the connection in the middle.

Open Embrace is like two unicycles: each maintains their own balance, even if they hold hands.

Close Embrace is like two unicycles holding hands very close to each other.
 
It’s a charming imagery, but more confusing than helpful in my eyes. To me, the main aspect of any embrace is the connection between the partners. The leader has to fell the followers position and to initiate her next movement. The follower needs to be ready to receive the lead, while being free and relaxed to have the impulse travel through her body. That’s not what I see when I imagine two unicyclist holding hands pedaling happily along side by side. On the other hand, I don't have any better imagery, neither.
 
Apilado is more like two unicycle bikers having lost their balance and mutually preventing eachother from falling forwards.
 
In that case I'm on a recumbent bicycle..too chilled to care what the embrace style is along as the woman can keep up........
