Interest Rates

Euro and pound dropped a bit recently. most dance vendors justified increasing price for gowns, stones, shoes etc due to the high euro prices. I see no sales due to the lower euro...

Yeah, unfortunately once prices go up they don't seem to get lowered again -- even if the reason they were increased goes away.

I think it would make sense to buy stones and dresses from Europe now. they are cheaper there..

Shoes for example are a lot cheaper if you are weilling to wait for shipping

That means I'll have to think ahead instead of ordering new shoes 2 weeks before the next competition. :)

;) A lot of time it is just convenient to buy at a competion.. but if you have time, ordering things from europe is cheper. shoes, or practice clothes.. I hope euro drops even more

And here I was thinking that epopel would eb chatting about mortagage rates as that always seems to be the hot topic when rates come up in the news...

Feel free to discuss it :)...

I'm not at the life stage when one thinks of mortgages ;)

Yeah, the currency exchange rate has nothing to do with interest rates (at least not directly).
