Couldn't believe I wrote this.I dare not to say it myself, but I agree. I don't think this is exactly criticism. Doing demonstration exposes themselves to public critique which help other people understand the dance through the example, good side or bad side. I also think if her feet didn't stay so "busy", if she "adorned" more than "embelished", her dance would look even more beautiful. And also, their dance would also look more balanced between the leader and follower. With the few demonstrations I saw of them, the dances are too follower dominated.
- now I am getting brave.
P.S., Of course, Ney should have his say about this. If he feels good from the dances, the style should not be much of an issue.
- Just came across this post and thought that I hadn't ever seen it before. Obviously I had an opinion about everything in Tango a year ago....but now I don't have any.
