Yes, this was so weird. I was dealing with my mom in the hospital last night, but I saw the message from one of the moderators this thankfully.

I am really sorry to have to bother you, knowing what was going on with your mom.

Like others, I'd been unable to log out for a bit; but I don't know if I was actually banned for any period of time.

I think if you were banned you'd know. The error message saying I'd been banned was quite prominent on the screen. When I tried to log out or otherwise navigate, the page would refresh and go back to the banned message (and not do what I was trying to do, like log out or look at discussion threads).
