Jewelry resale

What would be a fair price to ask for a set - necklace and clip-on earrings - which cost $250 new and is in like new condition?

Somebody I marginally (so far) know is interested in buying a set I bought for one of my dresses. Since I am selling the dress, I probably won't need that set anymore until I get another green smooth or standard dress.

I think somewhere around $200 would be reasonable if you say like new. You might consider extra discount for a friend since you know you are selling to someone trustworthy, but that's totally up to you.

how many times did you wear it, if more than 5 comps, i think the fair price would be a half of the original price.

Agree with the200 suggestion I think...jewelry doesnt seem take as much wear and tear as costumes so as long as it actually is like new I don't think you need to discount as much as you would a costume (as long as nothing is loose and stones or whatever are still shiny)

If its a friend I'd sell it for just enough to convince me to part with it :p
