Ja, Gerald. If you're feeling shy because you're a beginner, don't stress. We're all beginners. And we were all beginners to begin with. While some forget, most of us don't.
 
I think the first sign of a spoof was that the original post did not have anything about dance in it. Surely someone real joining a forum dedicated to dance would have a dance issue of some sort?

I think we are now officially taunting a ghost... *grin* Ah well, love the fact that we all keep greeting 'em anyhow. We're all either a little thick or hopeless optimists!
 
The fact is every now and then its a real person and we want to be nice and welcoming - I just think that if there is no mentionof dance in the post its virtually sure its a hoax.

But in some sense we are all each others ghosts - unless you have actually met. Thus, its not so difficult to correspond with a new one ....
 
By that rule, every ONE of you is ghosts except for Fasc, StageKat, JoeCZilla and Reb. This forum sure is heavily haunted then. :)
