Now will they start listing places to dance regularly??
 
Wow! Great article. Maybe if we all rallied and wrote to WGBH, we'd get them to embrace putting the competitions back on PBS.

I read somewhere -- either this board or that other one -- that this year's OSB *will* be taped for TV. Woo hoo!
 
I wish they have mentioned Westmore in Los Angeles. It's a great place to dance and practice. I've danced (at least on the same floor) among some of the best dancers before a major comp in the area.
 
apparently the Philly daily will run a big story on ballroom this weekend in their living or style section as well.

If you google westmore does it even come up? Some ballrooms will probably learn some lessons about the importance of a [good] webpage pretty soon, if they haven't already.

Champion Ballroom was on the list :)

Hey, as I think we've discussed before, money talks. It took Dancing With the Stars to convince folks that ballroom dance could make money in TV-land.

It's all good. Ladies and gentlemen, start your DVD recorders! :wink: :lol:
