where do you get your dresses? is there any websites that sell good professional dresses. i'm in the market to buy my partner a nice smooth dress. we already baught her a rhythm dress. i need something nice but wont break the bank. has to be ab stoned or nothing. used is fine to. all i can find is ballroom unlimited and i dont wanna order from them. thanks alot
also if any of you have a nice dress for sale or rent i would be interested

The best place to find used dresses on line, in my opinion, is at www.ballroomdancers.com . That's also the best place I've found for selling dresses, too.

It's not an exhaustive list, but rather a list I've compiled over the years of sites that looked promising.
 
If you don't have time issues, you can also also browse what vendors bring to large competitions... but from the sound of other posts, perhaps you are trying to get her a dress before your next competition.
 
Remember that buying one new off the rack and getting one custom made are usually the same price with most vendors. If you're going to pay the money for a new dress you may as well get exactly what you want. The only difference involved is that custom made takes a bit longer.

I've had dresses from Fancy Fashions and Dore', and I've been very pleased with both.
