Latin shoes

Hello all, I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading the stuff here for quite a long time!

Anyway I've been looking for a pair of new latin shoes and i'm wondering if you guys could give me some advice? Nothing too expensive, but at the same time, we've all gotta pay for quality!

I know most people go for supadance/international. But I was wondering what experiences might people have had with Rummos, Dance Naturals, or Freed?

Or uh, Ray Rose's Thunder. Haha!

Welcome to DF bluebereft!

There are plenty of threads on latin shoes! You may wish to do a search to find them. Also, if you would like some advice on a latin shoe for your foot structure, or want feedback on specific models or types, give us some further detail.

Again welcome!

also me i suggest you search for these brands in the search function, because there has been many discussions regarding shoes... My opinion is that Rayrose is the best, so i dont think you should go with those brands :P but its up to you... hehe... good luck with your shoe-research!

I personally use Ray Rose Monsoon... I have pretty narrow feet though... I adore them.. they are the best shoes for me :)

I have to second the Ray Rose shoes...they are awesome and the best shoes I've ever found, but you still should try others on as well to see what fits you best.

i think - if you want quality - go with Ray Rose or Aida.
Comfort - Aida definitely better (imho).

Price wise i think AIDA is a little more money, but A&D Couture started selling them in US and those guys have promotions pretty much every other week. I know that they had one 2 or 3 weeks ago with 15% off for custom made Aida shoes.

and my final suggestion - try them first - go to the store - or to the comp - no one will charge for trying - find what fits you best - every shoemaker has its own standards for sizes and fits.

Aida's have always felt weird on my feet LOL... they are EXTREMELY well padded, however, and very comfortable... I just didn't like them compared to RR... but as we have discussed in prior threads, I am a bit of a princess when it comes to my shoes :D

Honestly, everyone's foot is different and you really need to try them on to know!!! Good luck!!!

Hi there :-)
I definately reccomend ray rose! i've tried superdance and dance naturals before but once i got my ray roses i never looked back!! im looking at getting my third pair very soon.

Just remember that RayRose are a better fit for narrow feet, in general. I could never get a good fit in a RayRose. It is very important to try the shoes on before you buy.

Rummos Elite, it's pretty soft, and well padded. Also comes in multiple width ( important if you have wide feet), as far as the styling goes, love the stitchings.. :)

The most important thing IMO, is to find shoes that fit well, tight but at the same time have enough room for the WHOLE ball of your foot to be in contact with the ground.

I really like Aida, almost as much as i like Ray rose.. But the quality in Aida is not so good. The stiches or whatever you call them that they sew the satin together with the leather is breaking on many parts, and i havent been using these shoes that much yet...

Me i will go back to Rayrose mainly because i want a more long lasting shoe...
