Leaders. How was your Tango journey?

Exactly! And I have anecdotes from several professionals and teachers that it gives their movements more solidity, firmness, power even; all desirable attributes whether leader or follower. And when you yourself feel your body is strong, that it can take whatever the world throws at it, well, that's an immense confidence boost.
I've noticed a difference. More stamina as well. Maybe helps with balance but I'm not certain.

Depends, if you've gained mass in your lower body, that does lower the centre of gravity. If any of your lifts involve stabilising, like bulgarian split squats, then there will definitely be an improvement in balance.

I've added some muscle to my legs, yeah. I do squats regularly, not always Bulgarian split squats though. Hadn't thought about the center of gravity though. That's an interesting point.
