Lifelong Struggles

Anyone else have something you've struggled with ( for years or all your life) and still can't master it?

I sure do - this came to me the other day when I was trying (for the 4,817th time!) to make good hash browns. Just can't do it - can't make decent hash brown, American fries/potatoes, anything of that ilk. It always turns to a starchy mess - and I'm a good cook for the most part.

Also, can't do no-handed flips (actually been awhile since I've tried, but I used to try with all my might, so pretty sure it's not happening now!)

My mum says that I'm a lifelong struggle :|:argue::D

probably my confidence in some respects and expressing my true self. Kind of like an inner battle but I will overcome it and feel I am doing each day :)

having patience. When there's a problem to be fixed, I want it fixed RIGHT NOW! When there's a dance move to learn, I want it mastered RIGHT NOW! Sigh. Continuous, life-long struggle.

Oh, jeez...where to start? Confidence, assertiveness, not gaining weight (currently one hell of a losing battle), patience, compassion. Dancing (in general, AT in particular).

Good call...add being stubborn to my list.

Edit to add: Being scared of seemingly everything (particularly failure, however defined), and feeling (if not being) stupid.
