Does anyone know of an online source to buy hair ornaments like these? They're a multi-looped bow on a metal clip and are (or used to be) made of a silky synthetic fabric. For awhile they were very popular and I'd buy a couple of new ones every time I was in a drugstore that sold them in the hair care section. Having shoulder length hair that decidedly does not like hairspray, I just fastened it back smoothly in a short, low ponytail and added a bow that went with my colour scheme for both dance and figure skating.
After a couple of decades of wear, most of my collection came to the end of their lifespan and I want to buy more. The ballroom competitions I go to are local ones without a lot of (or any) vendors. There are some clip-on bows on Etsy and Amazon, but they're either single-loop flat bows with long tails that would tickle my neck, or are pouffy bundles of netting really intended for bridesmaids as small versions of the bride's veil. Any other sources? Or any Etsy sellers I've missed?
