Hi all. I am looking for salsa club recommendations for Paris, Rome and Amsterdam. (I DID do a search already, and any recommendations were over 2 years old, and I know clubs change often....)

So....anybody have input for these locations?

Tx!!

About dancing Salsa in Paris:

In the Salsa section of Dance-Forums, you have these threads:
Paris Salsa Clubs - Which are worth visiting? (2004-04-08 → 2004-05-13) (12+1)
Salsa clubs/instructors in Paris? (2005-02-01 → 2007-07-25) (72 posts)

In the Member Reviews section of SalsaForums, you have this active thread:

These posts of the Dancing in Paris thread may be updated (by me):

Where to dance Mambo in Paris (weekly parties)
Non weekly Salsa dance parties (dates)

Note that you can Search by Key Word(s) with the Search Titles Only option, on the Dance-Forums search as well as on the SalsaForums search, so you can find threads with "paris" in the title.

I'll be interested in the rome answer too, as I'm hopefully going to be there in July. :)
Locos por la Salsa - Index ,my friends in rome can help, i'll be there in july also,(papera-,el fruston, , &lucky luciano-nicknames all speak english) its in italian, with spanish titles, like dicen-dicen-where you want to ask where the dancers go in rome, tell them giovanni told you about the site, sorry i think u have to sign on to post a question, but dont quote me,to sign on ,its in italian so you may need someone to help u,but when your on you can ask questions in english, before im ready to go i contact them to ask where there going, so i cant recomend a place at this time, theres also another site called (meetinglatino) from rome and i know dancers from there, they have a section called international where people ask about dances in english/french & spanish, and some know those languages so they help out.

Thanks for the hints about Rome. I also emailed a local instructor, Pedro Gomez (apparently pretty well known) for some other information. Any other tips on salsa in Italy (Rome, Florence, Turin)?

I need tips on Rome as well - I'll be there next week and would love to go out dancing. Needs recs soon so I know whether or not to pack dance shoes;)

I was in Rome last week and frankly, did not get to go dancing. I contacted an instructor there, who was kind enough to give me a suggestion: La Tropical, in the EUR area. The problem is that many of the clubs, especially in the summer, move out to the suburbs. (That, and the atrocious parking situation in Rome.) EUR is relatively close, but the public transit system sucks, and I did not want to get stuck out there without a cab. I can definitely post the website for La Tropical later if you are interested.

yeah...that makes sense that the clubs move to the more resort type areas in the Summer. Bummer!

Maybe I'll have better like finding something in Amsterdam....
