Making a Dance documentary, need dancers

Hello,

I am Ceazar Orjaliza and I am making a documentary about dance. Of course to make something of the sort I need dancers, that are willing to be interviewed and filmed dancing. Anyone can participate. I am making this for my portfolio but also because I love dance and I know a bunch of you love dance too.
I live in FL by the treasure coast, but I really want as much footage as possible and as many views of "dance" as possible, so if you are interested and don't really live close by you can send me a video that you shot yourself or someone else. Just msg me if you are interested or reply to this thread. Thank you very much.

Think you should find the dancers and seek out their places. Not the other way round.

I'm finding dancers through many means and this is just one that I'm trying. I am seeking dancers by emailing them on talent websites, youtube or any of the sort, and I am posting in classifieds all over the country. I've got quite a response and am now working with alot of people who are willing. Some people out of the country and some in. This forum is just one of the man ways I'm getting dancers in this projects.

Ok, then sorry ceazar. Thougt you were trying to make it easy for you. It´s a difficult job to find authentic dancing, and I doubt emailing will provide an authentic image. You will need good shoes, a lot of time and a good instinct to find the immigrants in their cultural corner shop next door; the people with parkinson dancing argentine tango in slow motion in their treatment group, the self-employed gathering for a flash mob on a frozen lake, the sixty-year old on a dance vacation in an exotic location, ..only to mention a few.
