As many of you may know (or have heard through the grapevine), October was a hard month for the Metronome. A significant rent increase, among the other rising costs of doing business in San Francisco, put the ballroom in a precarious situation. San Francisco has already lost one significant ballroom this year; we cannot afford to lose another. With your help, this will be remedied.
This Saturday, 11/10/07, the Metronome is hosting a grand party and fundraiser. Come enjoy a group lesson for all levels taught by David Weise, American Smooth Champion; loads of dancing hosted by Patrik Gallineaux; an amazing show featuring professionals from the Metronome; and the chance to participate in a silent auction with many fabulous opportunities. Tickets are available in advance or at the door. The suggested donation is $20/person, but any amount you would like to offer will be gratefully appreciated. Join in the fun and help the Metronome continue to thrive!
