:cool: Anyone else coming to Cancun for Mexico Open?! It supposedly will be televised across Fox Latino. Not sure what to expect but I'm totally looking forward to it!
 
I heard there is a group of NYers going down...
Damien and Karolina, Lukas and Polina and Serge with his new partner. Not sure which pro/amers are going.

very few from what I hear. A friend of mine who was going just dropped out when she found out there was going to be so little competition.

I'm going. I don't often get to compete when I am not working and it seems like a good vacation/competition opportunity.

It does appear that entries are less than they expected though since pro-am was intitially scheduled to start on Thurs. and now all heats are on Sat. (pro and pro-am).

Not sure what they are going to do with us Thurs and Fri, but there is always the beach!
 
Pro-Am on Saturday??? I wish the website would tell us this information. I'm competing ProAm Latin....I thought it was Friday.
 
It was originally, but now if you look at the web site, it only has Saturday's date. My instructor talked to them and they confirmed that all heats are on Sat.
 
I'm glad I didn't book my flight to leave on Saturday. That would've been a disaster. Thanks for posting this info!!!
 
My coaches are going... they were invited with accomodations paid. Pretty sweet huh? Best of luck to all competitors!
 
This place is awsome. Beautiful hotel, perfect white sand, people keep bringing you stuff. Everyone is going on some tour today like we did in Mexico City, I heard something about Dolphins... Cant wait to see the party he has planned for tonight and tomorrow.

We got here at 2pm yesterday and spent all day laying on the beach... :)

Carlos has once again exceeded my expectations.

The pro-am section of the comp is not that big though, although Semis and quarters in all pro events.
