Miconceptions about belly dance

Exactly. Since a new user cannot post a link until they've made 15 posts, its always a bit suspicious when post #16 is a link, especially when the 15 other posts have (A) come that same day, (B) are each very short, and (C) no further posts were made after #16.

phew...doggone it...is that the way you said to spell it?...glad I am not just a cynical old broad..am feeling that way

aahhh.... educational. interesting.

When I had less than 15 posts I couldn't make smilies for some reason. :( I guess a smiley is considered a link somehow?

Anyways, call me naive and such but I've never heard of anyone relating belly dancing to anything scandalous. If anyone does think so, I would think they also wouldn't approve of many of the latin dances in general.

Not sure about that one, I'll have to look into it.

And I concur with your comments regading belly dancing/Latin.

Well, the link posted doesn't appear to be your typical spam. I don't suspect anyything untoward.

It really is pretty spammy. Helium dot com is a site where people write stories, and then the writer gets a cut of the ad profits. So it appears katq is trying to get more visitors to their story, and thus more profits. (Not that they'll probably get enough money from a percentage of banner ads to have gone through all this trouble, but katq probably hasn't realized that yet.)
