My personal reaction to it is that is seems a bit heavy on the side of follower embellishments. I'd hate for people to get an idea that tango occurs in the feet from the knees down.

I don't like to watch over-embellished dances, like having too much garlic in a dish.

One of the most miserable dances I ever had was when on every ocho to my partner's R, she had to stop and catch my R foot with her L, no exceptions. I had to figure out how to dance without that particular lead.

I've got somthing similar once, a follower who would touch my foot in passing, every time she was doing a front ocho (just after her pivot; there is usually a leader's foot near). Once I noticed, our tango became more corrida-like, as I evaded the touch by swiftly moving my foot out of reach. Ole! Ole!
