The studio here has a youth class weekly. I told my sons about it(we have 4 boys) and my youngest(10yrs) wanted to go. I thought the class would be priced the same as adults. I guess they are just trying to get the children involved because it was a very low price.
Is childrens lessons usually lower than adults?
I am so glad that he enjoyed it.When we left he said"next week is cha-cha. YOu are going to have to show me the moves before we go".
If he likes going I am going to teach him some at home. I have a dance room.I just didn't know if it would be better to have him learn from an instuctor or to mix it up with my teaching him too.
Very happy I finally got one of them to want to dance..:D

We dont have any kids classes, but at parents' studio, the kids classes are half or less than the adult's. Least, last I saw.

How great! Such a pity you live all the way over on the other side of the World as my 10-year old girl needs someone to dance with. :)

I would not be surprised if kids classes were cheaper, at least to start with. At our place the kids beginner course is about 20% cheaper than adult and to attract (the parents of ) boys, a beginner boy gets the first half-a-year for 10 €.

At the level my daughter is, the cost is the same as adults.

congratulation liz.

in my studio price is the same for children and adult because we also have private lessons with kids. we have different packages. ;)

what I can suggest is that you show him only, and only basic step, but everything else live to a teacher. because they might have different program for kids.
