funny story that I just have to tell and I'll bet many of you have a similar one...since I have mentioned this to both DH and my pro ...I thought I would share......

am laying in bed a few nights ago w/DH and we are facing each other...(now you have to appreciate that DH has been very busy at work preparing for a very big event and I have been taking quite a few lessons preparing for a comp) ...SO ANYHOW, I reach over and put my left hand on DH's right upper arm and I'm thinking "boy his arm feels odd...what's wrong with his arm? it feels so long and thin and a little soft ...what 's with that? THEN IT DAWNS ON ME    (as my eyes get wide as plates) "no, HIS arm has always felt like that....HIS arm is perfectly fine!!!!!! It's just not HIS arm that I am accustomed to touching

thought about putting this under the "you know you're addicted when" thread

as well as this....last week an instructor needed to call me and she called me at the studio before even trying my home# or my cell    AND i WAS THERE.....you know you've ARRIVED when your studio starts taking calls for you

So...

(snarky comment coming)...

You are saying that when you reached over in bed and touched the arm of the person next to you, you were surprised that it wasn't your teacher's arm??

(lol)

I thought it was real, not just amusing. But I can see why, if you've never had a working-overtime-all-the-time SO, you might not get it. It's real. Funny, perhaps. But real. 8)
