NDCA Syllabus -- Is the "book" up-to-date?

I'm preparing for our first competition and would like to nail down the NDCA Bronze syllabus figures. (The competition is USA Dance but as far as I can tell they seem to reference the NDCA syllabus.) While the names of the figures are listed in the appendix of the current NDCA rule book, I understand there's a book (never saw it, costs about $45) which I presume gives a detailed, text description of the syllabus figures. Right?

Is this book up-to-date with the list in the rule book's appendix? (I have seen what I believe to be earlier versions of the syllabus on the Web that don't seem to match the current rule book.) I'd hate for fork out $45 to get an out-of-date book!

Under "news and resources -> publications" on the NDCA web site, you'll see the email and number for Yolanda Vargas, who sells the books including this one, and I'm sure she could tell you about it.

Are you competing American style?
