Need help for suiting fabric

I'm trying to find suiting fabric in very uncommon designs for costumes. Specifically, A dark forrest green with fat mint pinstripes. (ala character design of "Freckle" from Lackadaisy cats)

I understand garment making, alterations, and such. I just don't know fabric beyond the obvious. It sounds like fabric printing is going to be the way to go, but. Who, What, When, Where? I need something that will make excellent suiting fabric for ballroom.

Any help?

If you are asking what type of fabric, you will need a lycra blend. Check out Chrisanne website it should give you some ideas.

Ideally, I'd like to find a light-weight (<10oz.?) gaberdine.

I need an insider for the fabric/fashion industry for this hunt.
