moved this site to a new server last night. Not sure about you, but seems to me the site is running a LOT faster.

We probably took it off-line when we were uploading the database from the old server to the new server. I am not aware of any security issues. And now that we are on the new server it will be very easy for us to make all pages Https. I expect that will be done before the end of the year or even before the end of this month.

Yes, there was actually a code insertion attack (but it was a couple of weeks ago), and I took the site down while that was fixed. Soon we will be installing SSL for the whole site meaning any message you type (ex. a post or a login) is encrypted between you and the server. That is one of the reason we updated the server, as it gives us the ability to add SSL for free.

^I had to delete all of my bookmarks and saved passwords from my various devices and start fresh... maybe that's why.

Dunno if this was the issue, but SSL cares about that (and I think maybe the 'www.' prefix for each, too). It's a pain to set up, but definitely for the best -- cool upgrade for the site.

OK, thanks for letting me know. I don’t see what you posted so I’m going to let this ride a little longer. It may just be something with name servers need to update around the Internet. But if it isn’t better by next week, I need to look into it some more.
