Good video of men's technique:

I don't like forward step cause he is not falling into step and pushing follower with his chest.
He is going under the partner, so follower doesn't have lead intention from him.
Overall I find it good for practicing pivots, and some concepts are well explained.
I would synchronize more leg and body movement i.e. i woul go more fist with the torso and extend leg later.
That way my leg wouldn't define length of my step but my movement and intension of upper part of the body.

There are more good women's technique video with sonja.

The technique for leaders and followers is quite similar.
IME Leaders should understand follower's technique in order to understand what
is consequence of their leading.

I wrote what I dislike about that guy as well already.

I disagree with you about details.
He makes pivot very smoothly and explains them how to do it.
It may not be done so fluently at social level but I find it necessary to understand the mechanics of dissociation and pivoting essentials for social dancing.

But respect those students and attendees that want to exhaust the limits of their art right from the beginning. Perhaps you have lost contact to those twenty to thirty year old portion. Social dancing only is a spin-off for this sort of population.
