Thanks to everyone who's been posting, to help me out and improve my understanding of Argentine Tango, I appreciate it.
I don't like forward step cause he is not falling into step and pushing follower with his chest.
He is going under the partner, so follower doesn't have lead intention from him...
His description is on the granular level, so it looses the fluidity of the overall movement. Looks like a good drill for developing skills for a performer.
I still don't think a social dancer needs to study on such a detailed level.
But respect those students and attendees that want to exhaust the limits of their art right from the beginning. Perhaps you have lost contact to those twenty to thirty year old portion. Social dancing only is a spin-off for this sort of population...still don't think a social dancer needs to study on such a detailed level.
