NJ Dancesport Classic / NE Regionals

So, who will we see at regionals next weekend? Elona and I will be dancing both championship smooth and championship standard. I really hope there will be a semifinal in smooth. The standard is bound to be large.

I'll be there. Last I heard there were 28 couples registered for Champ Standard, and growing...

I'm going to be there. Not sure I'll stay for championship though: depends on whether I'll find someone who can drive me back afterwards, and if I decide it is not too expensive on top of other competition costs.
It is very tempting to stay now that I know that callen and Katherine will dance several rounds!

I am doing bronze, silver and maybe novice :shock: standard and syllabus 6-dance

planning on 3 dress changes :shock: for one morning: blue for syllabus standard, black gown if we feel like doing novice and something else for syllabus 6-dance.

Does anyone know what the eligibility for 6-dance is? Is is like masters of syllabus - anyone can dance as long as the steps are syllabus. Or is only for syllabus - eligible competitors?

Have anyone done syllabus 6-dance before?

I believe that the syllabus 6 dance can be done by anyone as long as they stick to syllabus figures... I could be wrong though

You are correct. Syllabus 6-dance is open to anyone as long as they dance syllabus.

At regionals. I have done the 6 dance in the past, but now I'd rather concentrate in our events later in the evening, i.e. Pre-Champ and Champ Standard.
