Colleague passed this video onto me.

[EDIT: please use the direct link provided in the next post]

called 'this guy has anger management issues'

Disturbing or what.

Hopefully you haven't met too many like this.

Actually, it was funny.

It makes me think of all the guys (short and tall) who've hit me on my head during a turn because they were too lazy to reach over!!... And, it makes me think of some guys who I can actually imagine wanting to do things like this. :-) Heck, women probably feel the same at times.

What would people do if they saw this?
I'm not sure exactly what her reaction was, apart from looking a bit stunned afterwards. She didn't try to get away from him. The guy beside them tried to calm him down a bit.
On first watching it, I felt compete disbelief and I had to watch it a second time to make sure I saw what I saw. My gut instinct would have been to push between the two of them, but that would have escalated things, again not good. Presumably she should leave him and minimise further damage, but having been a poice man I know many women (and few men) who stay. Better the devil you know than the devil you don't. Telling them to leave may result in more violence back home where he is 'invisible'. So I don't know what to do.

Okay, so say you saw this happen to someone in the local dance club. What would you do? Best to be prepared with some course of action rather than act inapporpriately.

As for deleting it, Vince? I don't know why it should. I feel it's a very serious issue and ripe for discussion. Let me know why you think it should be removed, I'm interested.

D-spot.

I have seen other clips from sites similar to this - clips of people displaying very "odd" behavior. I don't know that these clips are real. But, if there are, I don't see what the harm is - why this should be removed from the forum. Think of it as something showed on those Caught on Camera type shows.

If something like this happened in "real" life (at a club, where ever), I'd think the woman should get herself away from the guy. If he causes a scene, then I'd think another guy should step in and lend a hand. Notice in the clip, the guy next to them "stepped" in.

If you had submitted the direct link as diputsnyc did, I would have agreed. I LMAO . . .

However, what you submitted was porn (look at the site itself) . . . the girl on the ball, and the attached ads, etc. I'm not a prude . . . not knocking porn . . . but not on this site!

Sorry, but I didn't think it was funny at all. Actually, I got even more bothered by it each time I watched it. :( Mistakes happen in dancing, and I don't think there's ever an excuse for striking back at a partner (other than some unwanted groping from a guy, and that's not really a "mistake" anyway). Maybe I'm just old-fashioned. If somebody dances with you in a way that you truly can't tolerate, then just leave the dance floor and/or don't ever dance with that person again.

Based on the way that the woman in the clip kept going after the incident, I assumed that they were a "couple," and she was perhaps used to treatment like that from the guy....as sad as that might be....

mg.. ... not funny at all, no.

can't believe the woman tolerated dancing with him . even before he struck her he was quite agressive in his dancing.
can't believe she didn't jus t leave him standing there.

but then, maybe she was just stupefied by his behaviour. or used to it?, trying to make the best of it, praying the dance'd be over soon without too much harm done...
Still a lot of women out there that'll just let it happen, hoping it'll be over soon. Disturbing, yes.

i don't know what i'd do. hopefully step in, talk to the woman, let the men present take care of the man...

 I'm just... disturbed by this. The guy has very disgusting issues with himself, women, and the world in general. Ugh.
I'd get him straight to the police. No kidding, I would. There were witnesses there, I'd get his arse sued to the end of time.
