Nueva Epoca - SF Dancewear

I stumbled upon Nueva Epoca's at SF Dancewear!

Their selection's small but they're cheaper than Carmen at $189 (which is the only place I thought you could get these things!)

Feel free to move this post, I wasn't sure where to put it but wanted to let everyone know about the Epoca's. I've been wanting to try them on for ages, but definitely cannot justify a trip to San Diego just for shoes!

They're a premium brand of Werner Kern, aren't they? Very high quality shoes.

They are absolutely gorgeous!

Did you find you needed half a size smaller, as is usually advised. Also, when I've seen these shoes, they seem narrow - about 8cm across the base. Is this still the case?

I have 2 pairs of NE that I really like. They are very comfortable. I got them from Carmen when they were on sale, but does the place you suggest have an online store?

I think you could go with your regular size in English sizing. I think I ended up going 2.5 sizes down instead of the recommended 3 (the US translation of the sizing) and it was just about right. I did find them a tad narrow, but the suede pair I got stretched in nicely and are one of my most comfortable pair.

Basically agree with bastet. I went down 3 sizes though and I would say they are narrow at the toe, but not necessarily narrow enough for people with narrow feet.

They do have an online store. But I only see 3 pairs of NE's at the bottom of the page I am directing you to - The Allegra, Milenia and Pura. http://www.sfdancewear.com/items.php?Category_ID=129&Order_By=Manufacture

I did order some supadance shoes on sale from them over the phone when I lived in Florida a few years ago. If I remember correctly, they don't have a warehouse, just what's in the store, so if you call they just tell you then and there if they have the product and ship it direct. They also let me exchange them for a half a size smaller when the shoes didn't fit.

Hope that helps!

Thanks! I'll check it out. Not that I NEED any more shoes or anything like that...
