NYC Tango Festival / Contact Info

Does anyone know how to get in touch with the organizer of the NYC Tango Festival? The event is in July but I don't know the exact dates. I have tried to reach them several times but so far I I haven't heard a sound.

I tried the email and phone number listed on the website... no luck yet. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for the info and I had found the site in the past. I have written several emails and even called the number on the "contact Us" section. No return email or call. It's quite frustrating.

On the postitive side of things, they did just update the entry forms to read 2014. Just last week they were still 2013. This is one of the questions I had for them.

The festival isn't as big as it used to be. It was once Thursday-Sunday. Now, it's Friday-Sunday without the Sunday dinner. I was in charge of the milonga on the Staten Island Ferry. I was able to expand dancing to include inside the terminal.

Oh, it was wonderful. We left on the 4 PM ferry to Staten Island, returning on the 4:30 ferry. The smell of the harbor, passing other ships and the Statute of Liberty was wonderful. Passengers in the front of the boat came to the rear to watch us dance. (I was afraid we were going to capsize.)

But getting the permit to dance was a struggle.

If they would respond to inquiries it may help with attendance. I have emailed them 4 times within the past couple of months. I have called both telephone numbers. One of lines doesn't have voicemail and they don't seem to want to return messages left on the other one. This really is frustrating for someone that wants to enter the event. :(
 
Thanks for the info. I do appreciate it much.

I'm looking up some of them now (via Google). Having trouble finding one for Dallas.
