It's just about 80 days away! ...And both Drury and Hyatt appear to be completely booked (I'm not panicking... I'm not panicking...).

Anyone on DF happen to have a room for 11/19-20 (checking out 11/21) that they no longer need and would be willing to transfer? I would express my thanks in the form of cute animal GIFs and the promise of an adult beverage or two should we ever cross paths.

I am confident that you can go through the organizer and get a room there...if you don't want to do that, there is a residence in a few blocks away on spring street which is fine

Looks like you can book through the organizer if you buy a package... unfortunately (based on my interpretation but would love to be mistaken), packages focus on weekend stays, and I'll only be there during the week. :( I'll look into nearby options.
Can't help with hotel rooms but any OSB participant is welcome to practice at our studio free of charge the week of OSB. You will need transportation to get to our place is its 15 mins outside of downtown.
Good to know!

I would call or email them...I have seen the package and there used to be many many options for days, meals or no meals etc....

Call the hotel and say you're booking for the OSB. They never show rooms available online but I've definitely booked them up to mid September by calling and have never had an issue before with availability

I am hoping to go watch for the first time! (next year, I hope to compete!) super excited. I am going on the cheap, so I will probably airbnb a room, since I'm going for Sat/Sun only.

Does it coincide with the football game again this year? Somehow when I went in 2012, the game ended up being the following weekend, but a few years before that in coincided with the competition.

So it's the one vs. Michigan that draws big crowds? Because OSU has games scheduled for both weekends of 11/22 and 11/29, the first one is vs. Indiana, and the second one vs. Michigan. Obviously you can tell that I don't follow football.

Yes, the Michigan game is the Big One. But it'll probably still be pretty crowded for Indiana.

I don't know when osb is this year...not going...but Indiana has rarely got a football team so... well....no one will care about that one...plus, the few hoosiers who do, won't be spending the night....Michigan is a whole other monster
