It is what is says a very long milonga. Only been once. Music about 96% traditional. Floor was very busy almost BA like. So being comfortable in small spaces a must.
Pretty friendly especially the hosts. May be tough on a lone follower so probably bring your own moral support as a group a good idea. There are a lot of people dutch, german, french etc who have been many many times so are very familiar with each other. No different to anywhere else people tend to flock to whom they know just like the mango.
Forum Ant goes many times a year.

A typical schedule for the Chain salon Weekends is as follows:
Fri 10:15 pm Milonga or Vals lesson, 45 min costs 12.5 euros, then a milonga until 2:00am free.
Sat 1:15 pm Tango lab basically anything that Eric decides on the day, depending on numbers (50-200 people attend), 11/4 hours costs 15 euros and then a milonga from 3:00 pm until 3:00 am free.
Sun milonga only 12:00 midday - 3:00pm free. Then depending on flights etc you can go to Arnhem for another milonga from 4:00pm until you need to leave, with an official finish of 11:00pm costs 5 euros.

Some amazing dancers there, very good music, good concert by Sexteto Milonguero, locations were OK, but so-so performances (to my taste).

Hmm... maybe.
Incredible that it has been so poorly advertised in Croatia, I am truly amazed... I've heard of this event recently when I stumbled upon it while looking for something else. Purely by accident. Croatia is full of tango events (festivals in Poreč, Zadar and Rijeka, many weekenders in Zagreb and sometimes other cities) but this seems to be organized by a group from Germany that I know nothing about... weird. Almost none of the local tangueros know anything about this. Reminds me of several tango-tourist packages for German tourists that I've seen last summer in Split and Trogir. Such events are rarely visited by anyone outside the small group they've been organized for.
Do you people know these teacher-couples well? (I really don't have the time to search through youtube now...) I've only heard some of those names before so I don't know what to expect from them (in teaching, don't care much about shows).
For me, the biggest name here is the orchestra tipica "El Afronte". I heard they are good and would like to hear them. So, anyone coming?

I found this festival because I was looking for Alejandra Heredia´s schedule. I had some privates with her and can recommend her as a very good teacher. I also like Mariano´s ballet-influenced style. Still can learn a very lot of them.
