Orchestra posters

At a recent milonga a guest DJ set up a music stand in the DJ's area in a raised corner of the Milonga. On the music stand he put a a poster with the name of the orchestra playing during that tanda. He said the posters were made by a woman in Seattle, USA

I thought it was a great idea, & those who noticed did also. Have you seen this or something similar where you dance?

One guy used to do that but he quit.
It's nice or to put on some screen the playlist of the tanda.

A TJ here in Hamburg is working with a PC and a beamer to screen the informations onto the wall. This is pretty easy if you already have fed your iTunes library with all the informations about the music. Additionally one could tag the pieces as well, so beginners would get informations about the dancing style required ( as f.i. canyengue, tango bravo, salón, romanza, dramatico, nuevo, neo, vals, milonga porteña, candombeada, milongon, ..)

There is a DJ here who once had the orchestra and tune name displayed large on a computer screen, which was visible from the dance floor. I think the information changed automatically with each tune. I don't know how he did it, but I liked the idea.

Haven't seen any type of display but I think it' a great idea too. I often wonder what I am dancing/listening to (besides the "standards" that are often played). Displaying the name of the piece and the orchestra would help learn the repertoire.
