Both of my previous partners (clarification: I did not partner with them at the same time) had other partners in the same style. It hurts. With partner #1, I found out from someone’s Facebook post and he admitted when I confronted him. He claimed he only intended taking group classes with her and it was her idea. We split 6 months later.
Partner #2 mumbled something about trying out with other ladies when we just started and then said nothing for some time. I assumed the tryouts failed, but found out later he was taking private lessons with another lady. We split 3 months later.
My point, unfortunately, is that lack of clarity most likely means lack of interest in maintaining the partnership and inevitable breakup.
