Photos From Ohio Star Ball 2007

Great photos. I always say it takes a dancer photographer to cature the moment of dance. I myself am a dancer photographer. Am always interested in seeing great photo's. I will share mine in the near future. I am working on a line of photo art ballroom pieces. I am a Canon user myself would love to hear some details of the photos. Setting, lenses, etc etc. My favorite lens is a Canon 85 F2.8 for dance. Oh yes and the great question to flash or not to flash.

Thanks for sharing, Natalka. Great pictures both the action shots, and the fun pictures on sidelines of you with various people. Looks like your regular group there has a lot of fun. :)

Always cool to see familiar faces too, both from DF and from real life.

Actually, it was VERY difficult to shoot at Ohio and get decent shots because we were not allowed to use flash.
So...I tell you, it was NOT an easy task. I have a Canon 40D.
I had my camera set at 1600 & 5.6 most of the time. It tried several settings but that one worked best. My photographer friends Tony Eng & Stephen Marino helped me with trying to get the best setting! You can check out their website too at www.decadancephotography.com
That's a new site and newly formed photography team that are awesome! I will be involved in several projects with them and will handle certain initiatives. Any know where I can get pics or a video clips of Eugene and Maria. I found one website (timeless moments) but it only had one or two pics :-(
 
Okay...looks like my web manager finally got up all the photos I took at Ohio on my website. So...they are all posted now:D
