Me: "It's too early to be posting to the pre-comp disorder thread." Checks calendar - holy smokes, we are only ~2 weeks away. (!!!!)
Registration has been submitted and paid for (both pro-am and am-am entries), hair/makeup appointment requested, and I just printed my packing list. Time to start filling the travel-size toiletry bottles and gathering the dresses and accoutrements. Probably too late to order anything I don't already own.
I've probably lulled myself into a false sense of security, but at this point I don't have much anxiety about my comp routines themselves. I've been doing the bronze international ones for 2 years now, so it's just nitpicky details I may or may not get while being admonished to quit looking like I'm social dancing. The rhythm ones are newer but now have a few extra months on them since last time. Above all else, I'm just working hard to keep my eyes/chin up (I'm a floor gazer).
I had one of those comp nightmares last night... the details are fuzzy now, but the usual, trying to get to the floor where I'm supposed to be on time and either struggling to find it or running late.
OK whine here... so the one hair vendor who has truly figured out my hair is passing her business onto someone else, so I have to train someone new on my hair. Fingers crossed they get it. I have no idea if this will help, but I'm planning to print (literally, on paper) two collages - one of "good" hair examples, one "bad", that I hope can be used as reference (I'm starting to think a quick glance at my phone pics is not always cutting it).
Whine #2.... Saturday night of the comp is night 1 of WrestleMania. Tough choices lie ahead, whether to stay and watch the evening program (I'll be on package, and I especially like the Pro Rhythm and Latin heats) or go back to my room for a different (but not that different) sort of spectacle.
