I do like the idea of automatically converting an uncontested heat score from a 1 to a zero to 100 score . I know that wound be tricky but potentially luring to dancers trapped in comp Siberia...or Canada

And everybody scores 90-something in proficiency anyway. Sort of like A--- through A+++. Reminds me of bond ratings. LOL.

If I look at the numbers minus the 10's digit, and with the same judges, it does tell me a little something. "Yup, my rhumba was better than my bolero."
