O.K., Since we have a whining thread, i figured we should have a raving thread as well - afterall, we need to have some positives in our lives, right;) ??!!

Now....something to rave about....i think i need a few minutes....:car:

My partner, my coach, my hubby, my cats, all the great trips I've taken this year, the amazing shoes I got recently on sale (graphite grey silk Calvin Kline slingbacks for 1/2 price). I could rave about a lot of stuff!

A great Lindy Hop weekend coming up. Frankie Manning workshops, dances, and a 91st Birthday party on Saturday for him. I have to travel to 4 different cities but it's still great. At least I'm "centrally" located LOL

Newberg Oregon Thursday
Eugene Oregon Friday
Portland Oregon Saturday
Corvallis Oregon Sunday

And I've taught enough people the basics of the Lindy Hop that different dancers are going with me to every event. The best part is when we get back there are enough dancers who will have gone that the stuff we pick up won't be lost for lack of practice. Woohoo!

i was grocery shopping the yesterday and was standing to a pile of conditioners that were on sale for $0.99 (btw, i've never seen conditioners being THIS cheap!) Seeing that the product is strawberry scented i picked up the bottle instantly (yes, impulse buying pattern here!). It smelled sooooooooooo delicious!! I used it this morning and the texture of my hair reminds me of pancakes - light and fluffy  !!

Now, isn't it cool to find great bargains that aren't crap but are actually worth their money? :D :D

I've been having a really great autumn. So many events, fun things to do, worthwhile volunteering activities, all of which have made me incredibly happy to be a part of.

My life is more peaceful than it's been in years, I have my health and strength, I'm going on a date next week with a guy who, though he isn't "the one", is a nice guy and... wait for it... dances salsa!

All that and DF, too... :D

Rave on! :rocker:

The best part of last night at the Latin dance was my housemate finally began to understand the part of dancing with the music, mirroring the music by finding what is within that expresses it, following yet expressing herself..connected yet not chained. :D
